Beginner Group Coordinator
Colette was introduced to the Pied Piper program when her children attended as students. She joined the teaching staff full time 17 years ago when her youngest child graduated from the program. Colette received her degree in Human Development with a concentration in Early Childhood Studies, and later her CDA (Child Development Associate) credentials in Preschool Education from the Child Care Council of Westchester. She is the coordinator of the Beginner Group program and focuses on providing care and developmentally appropriate support for our youngest Pipers while also focusing on pre-academic skills to prepare them for the Intermediate Group program. Colette also coordinates all of the art curriculum for the school as well as working on small group instructions to support academic needs within the Intermediate and Pre-K programs.
